Personality:

Upon first sight, Kamui is cool, calm, and collected. He can keep a level head, even in the midst of a fight. Even in the midst of a fight in the middle of all of Tokyo's water supply! There's not much that can rattle or get a rise out of him, and that calm attitude of his makes it easy for him to observe what's going on around him and make what he thinks are the right decisions.

On the other hand, the few things that can provoke him do so extremely well. He more or less doesn't know what to do with himself without his brother Subaru and is prone to making less than sound decisions like murdering a bunch of people that try to get near him. Furthermore, there's Fuuma and even the mention of Seishirou; just being around the prior and the mention of the latter were enough to get him bent out of shape, but that tends to happen when one is hunting you and your brother and the other is the hunter's brother. He doesn't usually stay angry or for long, but his decision making goes down the drain whenever he gets too emotional.

Kamui is confident. He says what he thinks immediately unless it's something he doesn't want said, and there's hardly any hesitance to his words. That extends to his actions, as well. He picks fights with very little warning and never seems nervous when he does; he never seems nervous about any of his decision making, either. Whatever decision it is, Kamui makes it decisively, and that's all there is to it. The only person that really seems to be able to get him to slow down and give anything second thoughts is his brother.

Kamui is competitive. He's competitive when it comes to Fuuma, he's competitive regarding the two warring factions in Tokyo that are fighting over water... He was perfectly content to get the hell out of Tokyo faster once his brother woke up, but had to put that on hold for a minute for negotiations, simply because Fuuma told him if he wasn't around, he would win, and not Kamui.

Because the fate of an entire world's people is really something to have the competitiveness reserved for League of Legends about.

Speaking of good life decisions regarding other people, Kamui is kind of fundamentally lacking in empathy for people that aren't his brother. I mean, he does seem to care about other people a little, but it's that distant kind of caring reserved for your best friend's dog that just died. And the distance likely comes for a good reason; it's a little hard to care about people when they're also your juice boxes. Traveling across worlds repeatedly doesn't help. Or maybe he's just an asshole. His brother isn't an asshole! He's the kind of asshole that kills when he finds it necessary instead of for funsies, at least. ...When he finds it necessary is a little dubious, but still. But he will ask you to your face why you care about your friend without a soul, because obviously he isn't even a person at this point and that's just silly.

That's not to say that he's incapable of fondness or caring about others, of course, but it's certainly something that would take time and be slow and reluctant on his part. Especially the caring part.

But when he does care, he cares a lot. Maybe even too much. He's completely devoted to his brother Subaru; in fact, he's practically another person around him, being more gentle, patient, expressive... He seems content with just about anything as long as he's with his brother and he's safe and doesn't seem to mind the fact that they have to travel across worlds to escape some crazy guy at all. He never complains about having to watch him for three years, either; the only worry he ever has regarding that is that they've been in one world for too long. When Kamui cares, he goes all out.

Which leaves him as someone incredibly one track minded. His brother always is and always will be his number one priority. People that could be dangerous getting near his cocoon? Kill them. This kid's blood could maybe wake my brother up? I'll try anything. He woke up? Oh well fuck you guys I'm out. It's not impossible to get him to care about anything else, but it's certainly a pain in the ass, and half of the time it's his brother getting him to care about other people. Yikes.

Abilities:

First and foremost, Kamui is a vampire; of course this is CLAMP so naturally that dictates that we play by our own rules. He drinks blood to live, and that's where the similarities end; his nails extend into short or long claws, his eyes turn yellow and slitted whenever he's around enough blood, emotional enough, or injured, and he regenerates from pretty much any injury, up to reattaching ripped off limbs. Of course, he isn't immortal; he has a long lifespan and is difficult to kill, but not impossible to (a big enough injury or lopping off his head would probably do the trick.) Also under the vampire skill set is being... Really inhumanly strong and fast, and a dulled reaction to pain, given that he doesn't react much to getting his arm ripped off or being sent flying with a magical sword (but that could just be Kamui.) He's also shown to be perfectly fine underwater for long periods of time and presumably doesn't need to breathe.

He doesn't have any of those traditional vampire weaknesses to holy water or the sun; really, he's more of some supernatural thing that drinks blood and looks a lot like a cat. Worth noting is his own blood; if ingested, his blood will turn other people into vampires, although they won't be a "purebred" vampire (he was literally born a vampire,) so they get cool increased healing, claws, weird eyes, and a need to drink blood as well. Kamui will give someone his blood over his dead body, so I don't ever see that being relevant, but it's still worth noting.

To make things weirder, Kamui can... speak to others telepathically as well as read other people's thoughts; it isn't something he does out of the blue, and I'll ask for player permission if it ever becomes relevant. Another weird magical ability he has is the ability to sense others' magic as well as the presence of a soul; the magic part is specific enough that he can distinguish people by what their magic feels like. For this I'll have a permissions post for people to fill out so that I'm not stepping on any toes.

He can also travel across worlds, but only with his twin brother Subaru; either way it falls under super nerfed anyway.

Alignment: Elios; ultimately everything this guy does is out of hate, love, or both; he loves his twin brother and will go to extreme lengths to keep him safe, and he hates the guy that's endangered their lives in the first place.
