Right, so.

Kamui here, the bright and upstanding god damn citizen that he is (okay no he's kind of an asshole,) can sense the presence of a soul and can sense magic, and the latter at least is refined enough that he can distinguish individuals based on how their magic feels alone- and it's not exclusive to people, either, as he can sense magical barriers as well. He won't really do much with this information, but he might look at your character funny if say, their soul is in a gem or they have some insanely magical sword or something like that.

Now obviously I'm not familiar with every canon out there and I also don't want to step on any toes, so here are a few questions about your magical stuff:

<b>Can Kamui sense your character's soul/lack there of/magic?</b> Simple enough. No is totally fine, I'll assume power nerfing shenanigans. This is also where you can go "actually my character has stuff that disguises/suppresses/otherwise masks their magic," too. <b>Is there anything weird or distinctive about your character's soul?</b> Aka is your soul in a gem, is there no soul at all, are there five souls around your belt besides your own because you have Pokémon. <b>Does your character have any magic or anything magical in nature?</b> Exactly what it says on the tin. Maybe your character's brimming with magic, maybe they have a magical book, maybe they've got some fancy tattoo with magic in it or something. <b>What type of magic are we talking here?</b> He will not have any knowledge of what your character's magic does beforehand, but he might be able to group different types of magic together based on what they feel like (like the magical girls will feel different from the tales people who will also feel different from the warcraft healer.)
